RESERVATION DETAILS

  1. Third-Party Bookings: The terms and conditions of third-party platforms (AirBnB, VRBO, etc.) apply.
  2. Payments:
    1. Deposit: 50% of the rental cost upon booking.
    2. Balance: Due 14 days prior to the start of the stay.
    3. Security deposit: Due 7 days prior to the start of the stay.
    4. Late Bookings: Full payment required if the booking is made less than 14 days prior to the start of the stay.
  3. Payment Methods: Bank transfer (Interac) to the Lessor’s email address for the security deposit.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. Reservations via third parties: The cancellation policy of the relevant platform applies.
  2. Procedure: All cancellations must be notified to the Lessor in writing.
  3. Refund conditions:
    1. Cancellation within 48 hours of booking and more than 14 days before the stay: Full refund.
    2. Cancellation more than 14 days before the stay (more than 48 hours after booking): The 50% deposit is retained by the Lessor as compensation.
    3. Cancellation 14 days or less before the start of the stay: The full rental amount is due; however, the security deposit will be refunded.
    4. Cancellation after the start of the stay: No refund; only the security deposit will be refunded after inspection, provided the security deposit conditions have been met.
  4. Cancellation by the Lessor: In the event of cancellation or interruption due to unforeseen problems (water, electricity, etc.), the Lessor’s liability is limited to a refund for unused days. No additional compensation will be provided.
  5. Transaction Fees: A 3% fee will be charged for canceled credit card payments.

IMPORTANT CONDITIONS

  1. Rules: The Lessee agrees to comply with the Chalet rules, which also apply to their companions and guests. Any failure to comply may result in:
    1. Additional charges, calculated based on actual costs (excessive cleaning, breakages, improper use of bathroom facilities, overflow, unforeseen late checkout, noise pollution, etc.), deducted from the security deposit or billed after the stay.
    2. Specialized disinfection and cleaning fees, if necessary (smoking, pets, etc.), billed to the Lessee in addition to the security deposit.
    3. No public reviews may be left in the event of non-compliance or attempted circumvention of the rules.
    4. Immediate eviction without refund, at the Lessor’s discretion, for the following cases, but not limited to:
      • Drug use on the property or use of the chalet for illegal purposes
      • Police intervention or neighborhood complaint
      • Serious damage caused to the chalet or facilities
      • Any other reason deemed relevant by the Lessor.
    5. For any breach, the Lessor reserves the right to terminate the contract and evict you from the chalet, and no refund will be issued.
  2. Use: The property is intended solely for vacation use.
  3. Capacity: Maximum of 10 people.
  4. Assignment and subletting: Prohibited without prior authorization.
  5. Departure: The Lessee must vacate the premises at the scheduled time and comply with the departure procedures indicated in the Chalet rules.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. Modifications: Any modification to the contract must be made in writing.
  2. Validity: If a clause is deemed invalid, the others remain valid. The parties agree to replace the invalid clause with a similar provision reflecting the original intention.
  3. Governing Law: The contract is governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and Canada.

OTHER PROVISIONS

  1. Classification: The establishment has a valid classification certificate issued by the Corporation de l’industrie touristique du Québec (CITQ #317846).
  2. Liability:
    1. The Lessor is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses resulting from the fault of the Lessee or their guests during their stay. By accepting this reservation, the Lessee and their guests accept the risks associated with their stay.
    2. The Lessor is not responsible for the theft or loss of the Lessee’s or their guests’ property.
